REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION OF STUDENTS

Procedures


Parents wishing to enroll students may do so by calling the school office any time during the year to set up an appointment with the school principal for a tour. Registration will be on-line only this year.

 

Kindergarten Registration
Registration will open ON-LINE on January 20, 2012 at 8am.

To be enrolled in the I.C. Kindergarten, a child shall have reached the age of five years on or before the 30th day of September in the school year during which the child enters kindergarten. Registration for the 2012-2013 school year opens on January 20, 2012 and will remain open until classes are full.  At that time, students will be placed on a waiting list.  Once you have completed the online form and submitted it, please mail a copy of your child's birth certificate and baptismal certificate along with a check for $300 (made payable to Immaculate Conception) to the school to the attention of Ms. Kate Cavello.  When we have received all of your materials, you are considered officially registered and will receive a confirmation email. 

 

The registration fee is applied to your last tuition payment of the year, due April 15th. Please see "Tuition Schedule" for further information on tuition payments.

 

An assessment of registrations and recommendations shall be made to parents regarding the appropriateness of kindergarten placement. Decisions regarding admission shall be shared with parents.

 

Students deemed ready to begin kindergarten and have COMPLETED registration by Friday, January 27th will be accepted according to the following guidelines:

1. Parishioners with siblings already in school

2. Parishioners with child now ready for school

3. Catholic non-parishioners

4. Non-Catholics with siblings already in school.

5. Non-Catholics

 

 Any family who completes registration AFTER Friday, January 27th will be placed on a first come, first serve basis.

 

Registration for Students Entering Grades 1-8

To be enrolled in first grade a child shall have reached the age of six years on or before the 30th day of September of the school year in which the child will enter first grade. Registration for the 2012-2013 school year opens on-line on January 20, 2012 and will remain open until classes are full.  At that time, students will be placed on a waiting list.  Once you have completed the online form and submitted it, please mail a copy of your child's birth certificate and baptismal certificate along with a check for $300 (made payable to Immaculate Conception) to the school to the attention of Ms. Kate Cavello.  When we have received all of your materials, you are considered officially registered and will receive a confirmation email.

*For tuition purposes, an “active parishioner” is defined as one who supports the parish spiritually and financially and shows concern for the well-being of our parish and school.

             That would mean:      Regular Mass Attendance

                                                Regular Offertory Contributions

                                                Participation in parish and/or school programs/activities
